So here is my lowdown on Japan. Lets go city by city shall we?
First stop was Tokyo. Huge, crazy with a obsession for cuteness and savvy 70's architecture. Not as 'futuristic' as one may think but awesome regardless. The hubby got tattooed in Yokohama by the so called grandfather of Japanese tattooing - Horiyoshi III, pretty damn impressive. Also impressive was his house / studio we visited. He has head tattoos, often tattoos the Yakusa and was watching daytime soaps. Awesome!
The rest of our time in Tokyo was taken up with eating, drinking in the Golden Gai, catching up with the lovely Nobu and Hiroko, people watching in Yoyogi park, cherry blossoms and shopping until our feet bled.
